In fact, I just used one the other day for teaching IELTS test preparation on how to prepare for the listening portion of the test.

Did you by any chance have the ppt templates of your foldables??? I'd love to use them at school.

Lisa's ESL Sitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16679590354750814417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6583157371181804613.post-9132209759491130512012-10-31T18:27:48.408-07:002012-10-31T18:27:48.408-07:00Thanks for the idea! Thanks for the idea!Gopher_Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11067342749949790696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6583157371181804613.post-26777519730965696052012-08-31T18:52:37.600-07:002012-08-31T18:52:37.600-07:00This is AMAZING! For the plate tectonic folder I had the following:
- 6 flap for plate boundaries (you probably wouldn't need so many as the senior students)
- 4 circles (small --> big) for layers of the earth
- 3 flaps for types of volcanoes (shield, cinder, strata)
- An accordian foldable for types of earthquake waves
- A few others... I find the best way to tackle them is to think of a concept and then think about how many points/ideas they need to know for that concept. Once I know that I can pick which foldable I will use.

Good luck!
AddieAddie Williamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10819822422681545542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6583157371181804613.post-43447725437029161112012-04-14T06:55:48.513-07:002012-04-14T06:55:48.513-07:00Love your ideas---we are now doing plate tectonics...Love your ideas---we are now doing plate tectonics.
